Yesterday, retiring Republican Senator Thom Tillis spoke of Donald Trumps and Stephen Millers dumb little bitch Nazi plan to grab Greenland by the pussy and not take Please, no! for an answer, saying, Im sick of stupid. He added that [t]he amateurs who said it was a good idea should lose their jobs. Hes talking about you, store brand Goebbels with the off-putting wife who isnt even good for making strudel.
So wow, even Tillis knows this raping Greenland thing is stupid. Lisa Murkowski thinks the idea is very, very unsettling and Susan Collins is concerned. Therefore surely all the Democrats are united in roundly laughing at and haha just kidding. Youre still here and taking up space, John Fetterman?

You know, at some point were going to stop compassionately blaming the stroke and just assume this son of a bitch was a secret cocksucking bootlicking fascist the whole time.

(25,502 posts)I mean, it isn't for sale. Oh, I know he meant cut more services to the American people to pay off the trillions in debt we'd accumulate to buy Greenland, because that's where the money comes from. It comes from our kids and their kids. But so long as we get Greenland and never tax rich people, it's great!

(8,733 posts)We already have a small base there, but had as many of 6000 personnel there during the cold war.

When I was in the Air Force in the early 70's and stationed at Goose Air Base in Labrador, people from Thule would come down to our base for R and R.

(2,688 posts)And other things under all that ice. Its not difficult here. Putin wants those REM's and he knows he can't invade Greenland without being completely destroyed by NATO(and his own country wouldn't stand for the destruction). So he's making Trump do it for him.
The US Congress is not going to a)Authorize funds to buy Greenland or b)allow Trump to claim Denmark is threatening our national security by refusing to sell and therefore he gets to bypass Congress and invade. He will be impeached and removed if he attempts to order any military vessel to head towards Greenland and it wouldn't surprise me if that wasn't also the "red line" for military brass.

(8,733 posts)Also, a 6 pack of soda on base was $1.00, but a 6 pack of Colt 45 was $0.75. You know what they wanted you to drink.
So the beer was definitely frosty, but maybe more of a slushy than frozen solid.
