Two years ago I dropped Spectrum when Disney was trying to hold them up over contract negotiations. I signed up with YouTube TV and have been very happy with them. Same set of channels for much less $ per month.
Yesterday I received an email from YouTube TV that Disney was trying to hold them up over contract negotiations and that as of today, customers would not be getting ESPN, ABC, or Disney channels.

Well, fu*k Disney. I just sent them an email saying it seems Tinkerbell has turned into a capitalist pig and that greed is NOT good. I'll just have to watch less college football this season. YouTube TV will lower our price by $20,/ month if they can't come to agreement with Disney. Guess I'll just have to sign up for Britbox. I can live without Disney or ESPN.

Yeah, I'm not happy about not seeing college football, either, but neither of my teams is any good this year. I'll survive.

i never went to one, not into sports, but while it might not be as comfortable as home it might be an alternative (or hanging out at a friend/neighbor's house to watch a game)

I could be wrong about that, but I don't know where they would get it that we couldn't get at home....

Thx.

They're eventually going to go up anyway. But, none of us need it happening any faster than it has to.
