Did Musk invent more "vital, life-shaping things" than anyone since Thomas Edison?

I read that someone made this claim recently. Musk is not an inventor. He a rich guy who invested in companies that created things. But he didn’t invent them. To me, anyone who would make such a claim is either a liar or delusional.

Not sure about life shaping unless you are a Tesla or Starlink owner. Everything he does is to make government money.
