What will it be like on Saturday, when the streets of D.C. play host to tanks and other military vehicles and thousands of spectators for the Army’s 250th birthday celebration?

“Expect scattered thunderstorms until 11 p.m.,” 7News First Alert Chief Meteorologist Veronica Johnson said.

Saturday morning will be cloudy in the low 70s, with temperatures creeping up throughout the day.

Saturday will be humid throughout the day, and scattered thunderstorms and showers will develop into the evening.

Trump ... has shrugged off concerns about the parade cost, the rainy forecast and the potential for protests.

“What a day it will be!!!” Trump wrote on his social media site, adding later that he hoped the weather would cooperate but that if it doesn’t, “that brings you good luck. That’s OK too. Doesn’t matter. Doesn’t affect the tanks at all. Doesn’t affect the soldiers. They’re used to it. They’re tough. Smart.”

I left the Catholic Church in my teens, and I don't follow any religion. But for a variety of reasons, especially people's near death experiences, I do believe in an afterlife that starts with a life review where we experience - aren't just told about - the effects we had on other people. Experience it as though it's happening to us. Think what that would be like for a Hitler, with all the millions of deaths he was responsible for.

And it will be hell for Trump, too. His delusions and malignant narcissism will not be able to save him from experiencing all the harm and pain he's caused. (And neither would a deathbed conversion/confession.)

But I want justice before that, of course. I'm still hoping to see him prosecuted for all his crimes. The Supreme Court should never have given him any sort of immunity, and that ruling can be reversed.
