For the no kings march some suggestions.

Just a dyslexic bad punctuation ramble yet also suggestions on how we do this peacefully and move forward and get to Sunday morning.

Get a burner phone if able leave your regular phone at home.
Take a back pack.
Water a few bottles.
Some basic first aid supplies.
Take cash if you can do not use your banking card.
Food perhaps some of those nutritional bars.
If you take prescription drugs perhaps take three day supply.
If you wear contacts probably be best to just wear your glasses may wanna carry spare set of glasses as well.
May want to carry large goggles that fit over your eyewear or just to protect your eyes in event of tear gas.
Wear comfortable loose fitting clothing it’s going to be warm weather air needs to circulate.
Maybe carry rain jacket.
Probably should not wear shorts.
Footgear no sandals try to wear sneakers or closed toe shoes.
Bandanna try using old t shirt to cut up as it’s larger more comfortable. Should probably have several bandannas just in case a stranger may need one in case of gas.
If it goes hot then sit down to show that you are not a threat.
If you find yourself under attack with tear gas wet your bandanna then tie it back around your face real tight use water to rinse your eyes out.

Google Earth the area you think you will be at then expand the map and study it make a mental map in case you have to exit out another way.

If you’re in group go over designated rally points in case you get separated so you can hookup and regroup probably best to have a primary rally point and secondary.

When you get to your sector check it out with your mental map from landmarks that you studied earlier just in case you have to move out.
Also identify anyone who may need assistance even if you do not know them.
You don’t have to go up introduce yourself to them. Yet just keep eyes on them just in case.
Also look for public trash bins or orange marker cones that are near by.
Reason if canisters of gas start flying.

Put trash bins over gas canister or the orange cones preferably a cone then you can pour water into cone to extinguish canister.

If you do come into contact with tear gas just move away don’t kick the canister away from you.
In that may just cause someone else harm that isn’t as self aware we all gotta take care of each other even strangers on this one.

Remember their side will have people planted among us who will be calling for violence against the authorities as we protest peacefully.
The authorities who are just doing their jobs probably thinking shit I’d sooner be home having a BBQ.
As i said these are just suggestions I’m not trying to tell you how to run your show.
We did not ask for this shit yet here we are and we gotta deal with it yet we do it peacefully.

leave your dog(s) at home. Even if the weather is cool enough to do so. (and it will not in many areas). Again, it should be obvious, but I have attended many a peaceful protest in the past--where it was simply a community day, and having one's dog with you would have been like bringing him/her to a local farmer's market/fair.

In this current climate, it is impossible to predict what response large crowds anywhere will receive—even if totally peaceful.

Be wary around mounted police. I once saw someone get kicked by a horse when it got spooked in a crowd. Same jackass on horseback goaded his trusty steed to defecate profusely in a crowd. Cop went on to create further mayhem elsewhere as bystanders retreated, creating a ring of repugnance that left them awestruck by the audacity.

to everyone, and great advice especially goggle wearing. Watch out for those agitators, do not confront them.

It can be done. When you see the cops confronting someone, move up and link arms. Add as many people as you can and preserve the chain. When you sit do it as a unit and force the cops to take you all on at once.

And from an old Punk: Steel toed boots are recommended, Doc Martins if steel toes not avaiiable.

Look for the helpers!

The biggest problem with sitting in a crowd is not the police but the crowd. If the police charge the crowd, no amount of linked arms will save you from the crowd trampling you.

11. Are you marching in the middle or on the outside?

Placement in the march is important, especially at the beginning.

If you are marching with children, I would say you need to be on the edges of the line. A quick exit with them is imperative.

If things go south and you are in the middle, be prepared to be targeted. As Dunc says have a bandana, water, bandages, etc. If you are a senior citizen - this is not the place for you. If you have a disability - this is not the place for you. Move to the outside.

If you are on the outside, know your first, second, third exits. Police will try to funnel everyone into a small area. If you see this - exit immediately.

If you are confronted by police - do not resist. If you are arrested (fairly or not) do not resist.

Absolutely under no circumstances do you engage with MAGA. Ignore them - hard as that is.

I pray everything goes smoothly and everyone goes home unscathed.

Light and love

Leave the dogs at home but bring children? Why don't you just carry a sign asking Child Protective Services to pay you a visit?
Don't be stupid.

In our local march tomorrow. I believe there will be wagons and strollers with children, probably decorated with bunting, flags and balloons.

This is a small town not Houston, Boston, Chicago or LA.

Also the goodest boys and girls doggies sporting bandanas, too.

Rather than a protest march - think mini July 4th parade.

Ain’t that America!😉

Ideally you'd never want to turn your burner on within range of the same towers as your home, work, or any regular place you go.

Feel free to ask me any other OPSEC questions as I, to quote Liam Neeson, have a particular set of skills.
