President Trump on ICE protests in Los Angeles: "I believe they're paid and we're going to find out through Pam Bondi and her great staff, her great people at Justice, who they are…We're going to find out who they are because I think what they are doing is unbelievably illegal.

The threat of the federal government 'finding out' who is protesting against them harkens back to Nazi Germany's SS, Hitler's thugs who oversaw the Gestapo. Their deliberately intimidating presence on the streets of Germany and terrifying night raids on homes, combined with their ability to bypass legal proceedings, spread fear into those who thought about resisting or opposing the Nazi regime.

He used regular security forces to gather intelligence on anyone they suspected or knew opposed the Nazi Party, including government officials.This is where Hilter's regime established the notion that dissenters were "enemies of the state," which made those protesting the government subject to arrest and indefinite detention without trial by jury in Dachau, the first concentration camp in Nazi Germany.

Trump's vow to 'find out' who protestors are, under this false pretext that they're being paid to demonstrate, is a totalitarian ruse intended to stifle dissent and resistance to his autocratic regime.

Urging the DOJ to identify and prosecute protestors is an outrageous abuse of power which should be met with calls for his resignation or impeachment, above anything other initiative or action republicans expect to enable of this power-mad presidency.
