They should just go straight to SCOTUS from now on because that’s where it always ends up anyway.

SCOTUS reviews decisions of the lower court. In most instances it does not have original jurisdiction.

I understand the way things normally play out. But nothing is normal these days.

You have a criminal president who is making unprecedented attacks on democracy. And you have a SCOTUS that doesn’t respect lower court rulings and likes to reverse precedence.

How hard can this be? Trump had no reason to Federalize the national Guard other than a stupid ego trip.

If Donald Trump declares martial law on Saturday - what does THAT do to this ruling? I think time is of the essence. I think he fully intends to declare martial law on Saturday. That's why all of the NG troops are in place in various areas, and why the tanks are in DC under the guise of having a freaking parade.

Am I totally off my rocker? Maybe. But the stress of the last few days has been enough to send even the sanest of individuals to the brink of calamity.

Someone needs to stop this shit.

Probably the best outcome for deceleration would be a stand-down, but it sure seems like there's a lot of accelerationist pheromones in the air lately.
