DC Weather forecast for June 14: 85% chance of rain

Looks as if it could be steady most of the day — accumulation of over a half inch.

Such a shame.

We know all about how insurrectionists use them to conceal their identity. That goes equally well for masks, scarves, broad rim hats, and anything else the parade going criminals may hide behind.

Lightning is perhaps the most concerning potential hazard, considering the large number of people who will be outside in open spaces and a considerable distance from shelter.

Thunderstorms are possible, though it’s still unclear whether they would be scattered or widespread. The greatest risk is between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. Attendees should stay weather-aware, have a shelter plan and follow the National Weather Service’s advice: “When Thunder Roars, Go Indoors!”

Usually the religious whack-a-doodles equate weather to "Gods wrath".

Will they just say God got the parade mixed up with DoTurds shower time? Or will they come out and say "God hates this man and is spiting him with rain" such would be the case if it rained on an Obama or Biden event.

https://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=38.890370000000075&lon=-77.03195999999997

Areas of drizzle before 11am, then a slight chance of showers between 11am and 2pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 83. Calm wind becoming northeast around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Also not what Accuweather is forecasting: https://www.accuweather.com/en/us/washington/20006/weather-tomorrow/327659

Or Weather.com: https://weather.com/weather/weekend/l/54cb0680765a42c2d32a29df7d31efbdf9ce65512744c95bc4a9f55b6727009a

Or the weather network: https://www.theweathernetwork.com/en/city/us/district-of-columbia/washington/7-days

I'm sure its not your intent, but posting uweather forecasts that are at odds with what actually is being forecast only will discourage some folks here from protesting the parade.

So that it's called off. And then I'll tell as many fundamentalists as I can that it was God's will that the parade got canceled.
