Things are getting real for Rand Paul

According to Acyn on bluesky:
Rand Paul: I've just been told that I've been uninvited from the White House Picnic. Every Democrat and Republican will be invited. I just find this incredibly petty. It really makes me lose a lot of the respect I had for Donald Trump.

Or, as Tea Pain commented: "You can't sit with us!"

I'm feeling for poor Rand, aren't you? Yeah, me neither.

You’re either all in or persona non grata. Paul was cool with it before he had the affront to disagree.

“Every Democrat and Republican will be invited”..to the White House Picnic.

Now given that Trump has called Democrats everything but motherF—-rs, why would any decent person attend his Picnic?

Don’t try to say that it’s the normal thing to do, nothing about this Administration or that man is normal. I would not legitimize anything that he does by my presence.

I wouldn’t go to a neighbor’s house for a person that had been convicted of rape, stole from charities, committed fraud and in all probability is a child-rapist or pedophile, I don’t see it.

During the usual rowdy game of musical chairs, Trump had instructed Stephen Miller to pull the chair out from under you every time you tried to sit down. Then they would all point and laugh at you. Better that you stay home.

Enough to stop voting for every corrupt bill and every corrupt appointee he presents? Yeah. That’s what I thought, Senator Paul.
