That's super fast deportation.!!!Southern California mother deported after routine immigration hearing https://share.google/GmXHyDpMPOXfpa68b
Loved ones are heartbroken after a Southern California mother was detained and deported after a routine immigration hearing.
Maria Valeriano Perez, 52, is a mother of three children who has lived in the U.S. for 35 years. She had been working as a custodian in Ventura County for years.
Her family said she attended an immigration appointment on June 4 and, instead of receiving an update on her case, she was immediately handcuffed and taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
She was transported to a federal detention center in downtown L.A. and was eventually deported to Oaxaca, Mexico.
Marias daughter, Erika Perez, said she was not only in shock over her mothers detainment, but also by the reportedly heartbreaking conditions her mother had witnessed.

I HATE this orange Hitler and the cretins in this administration. And they are blasphemous saying they are Christians when they ignore the teachings of Jesus. I was a stranger in your land and you welcomed me, Love thy neighbor as thyself, feed the poor and help the sick. Anyone in his atrocious administration who says they are Christian should be called out immediately with Bible scripture and shamed
.thiugh non of them have any shame because they are cruel and inhuman.

I am not an organized religion hierarchy person. But I think religion can provide a check on authoritarianism. Often they cave but there have been significant times when they have stood against a state and for justice and mercy.

There is no measure of humanity at all in government now.
We cann't deal with these entities as human beings.
They are total reptiles now.

(49,124 posts)it was never about criminal gangs or even about immigration. Racists want minorities out.
People like Maria Perez should have a legal pathway since she was following all the rules and checking in for regular immigration appointments.

(6,185 posts)Are they given help in Mexico once they are there or did they just live on the street? No clothes other what they are wearing, no money except what they had on them if ICE didn't steal it from them. What happens on the other end?
I would bet these " check ins" they have been getting notices of are from ICE. They should stop going if it isn't a normally scheduled check-in.

(103 posts)These hard working immigrants have friends and family who are American citizens. Those Americans become a little less loyal -- a little less committed to America -- with each deportation/disappearance.

(5,732 posts)This has nothing to do with crimes or criminals (except for those perpetuating these horrors). This has nothing to do with making this country stronger or better. Those that are being deported are the backbone of the service industry. It is another way to decimate the middle class. The rich will never miss these people, but the rest of us will, every day.

(335 posts)how helpless I feel about all the people being just grabbed and deported without due process and forced to leave behind their families. It's all so heartbreaking and it just shouldn't be happening. I don't write much here but I know I am not alone in my feelings. I live in a city where almost 50% are hispanic or latino. No large raids here yet but I am concerned about if and when. I will support them in any way I can.

claiming that they are all rapists and murders.
Instead what they found was that a small number have criminal records or have committed crimes.
Since they weren't finding that many undocumented people, they are now picking up anyone that is not a U.S. Citizen.
Parking & Speeding tickets are now causes for deportation.
Why do you think they wanted access to all the databases?
They know where they live, work and they now have dates to court hearings, on their path to citizenship. One of the requirements is that they can't leave the country during this period. I don't know if this is still the case, but if it still a requirement to become U.S. citizens, deporting them, now forces those immigrants, to have to restart their citizenship path, because they've left the country.
One more insidious thing they are doing, is that, if an immigrant has a crime hearing, the DOJ is showing up to drop the charges so that ICE standing outside the court room can now arrest and deport them.
The immigrant not knowing what is happening is only happy that the government had dropped all charges, so they think they are now free to live their life. Instead the minute they leave the courtroom, they are immediately taken into custody by ICE.
Rep. Dan Goldman (D & Good Guy NY) who is an attorney and used to work in the DOJ, has his local office in the same building where the immigration court room is taking place. He reported all this on MSNBC the day it was happening. He was not happy when DOJ was dropping the charges to allow ICE to take them into custody.
