"They came up to my father and they said 'your son is brilliant at music, he'd be an incredible musician'. This is not what my father wanted to hear—this was not the greatest thing, you know!

"Your son is brilliant and musically talented."

"HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT ABOUT HIM!!!!"

Fred Trump Sr. was in fact a real son of a bitch who probably contributed to his son's fucked-upedness far beyond what we will ever know, so I can't say that exchange would be completely out of the realm of belief.

After all, the fact that Fred Jr. wanted to be an airline pilot instead of a real estate businessman was something that Fred Sr. never forgave him for, and caused Fred Jr. (Mary's dad) to drink himself to an early grave.

Someone who plays the flute can be called a flutist or a flautist. While both terms are correct, "flutist" is more common in American English, while "flautist" is more common in British English.
Here's a more detailed explanation:
Flutist:
This is the most common term in American English and is pronounced "flue-tist".
Flautist:
This term is often used in British English and is pronounced "flaw-tist". It originates from the Italian word for flute, "flauto,"

Nowhere did I find the word "floutist" used to describe a flute player.
In fact, I find this demonstrating floutist is incorrect.

The Italian word for flute is flauto, hence flautist. Flutist is an obvious americanization.
But, playing off "flout" is clever stuff!

prove it. You do not get to say what you can do as well as others who have worked their asses off to do that thing. You don't play the flute or the violin or any instrument without a lot of hard work. Years and tears of hours and hours. First off, you don't have the ability to do that with anything and all the hours of work after that to do any of what is required.

What is he doing? Trying to prove that the rest of us have to work really hard to do anything hard for years where he has the intelligence, and ability to just be good right away? Bullshit from a real musician. There is nothing about you that would make a musician. In fact you are the kind of person who ruins all of it. You are the guy that struts in, take a high ranked chair seat without even auditioning and sits there. You do not get to do that asshole. Hours and hours and years and years and you wanna drop in now and then to treat us? You are a real piece of work. You are going to pay for all of your crap and we will give you your standing "O" as they kick your ass right out the door.

Go away and find something you can do, lol. Something that is something true, meaningful and not just to pretend you are a decent human being. That in itself will take you the rest of your life and you will never find it. Music also takes huge amounts of emotional work and I see that even less in you than compassion.

*sorry, I retired a couple of years ago, had to because of the ravages of age and this kind of crap pisses me off. I miss it so much I rarely even listen. He plays the flute. Bullshit.

He's practiced shifting his seated position to manipulate his bigly talented buttcheeks so as to produce a truly unique and individual effect (ignore the squishing noises). His rendering of the 1812 Overture is considered a classic, but can only be performed after a meal of bean burritos.
