The Cuban Héctor Luis Valdés Cocho, who was known as an independent journalist and activist and later faced fraud charges in the United States, is currently in ICE custody in Florida and is apparently at risk of deportation.

Valdés Cocho had been arrested last November amid several fraud accusations, and is currently at the Broward Transitional Center under the custody of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), as can be read on the agency's location page.

His detention occurs in the context of new deportation policies in the U.S.

So this still applies.

Now they're all a bit too Spanish-speaking and foreign sounding for MAGA racists. Several Latino/Latina Republicans have condemned ICE going after normal law abiding hardworking immigrants. Like idiots, they believed it would be dangerous gang members and criminals. Stephen Miller has been pressuring ICE to fill quotas, so anyone will do.

This could be an opportunity for us to pick up more votes in Florida, Texas, Arizona, and other states.

otherwise it could be Cuba via Guantanamo.

He's been arrested amid several fraud accusations.
I'd like to see him on trial and if found guilty, sent to a prison somewhere.

So the leopard theme still applies.
