and it ranged from 41% to 50%. How in the hell is it not 0%? It is in my house.

(55,215 posts)I know I'm in a blue state, but open support for Donnie is a *lot* lower here than 4 or 8 years ago. Very, very few houses with trump signs, very few trump t-shirts, very few maga hats, etc. nothing like it has been in the past.
And I know absolutely no one Donnie has won over. I know people he's lost, but no one he's picked up. Granted I don't hang out with many new voters, but still.
Plus, the entire business community I interact with hates him and thinks the tariff crap is a disaster. Again, I know people who supported him previously, but the tariff nonsense lost him a lot of support, not that they were even all that enthusiastic during the latest campaign.
Other than pure bigots and a few billionaires, it hard to see where his support still is.
I can't believe the propaganda is really that effective. Dictators can get away with only about 30% support, and that I'll believe. But nearly 50% is really hard to believe.
Keep in mind he cheats at everything, lies, and corrupts everything. Wouldn't surprise me if he's corrupted the polling community somehow.

(5,371 posts)So blatantly partisan garbage polls like Rasmussen are not included. I count a total of 122 polls since inauguration day that meet their criteria. Of those, a grand total of only 5 have ever had Trump at 50% or higher. And only one poll since February showed Trump at 50%. That was an Insider advantage poll from May 18 that was so far of an outlier, I have no idea how it ever met their criteria. Anyway, bottom line, is there haven't been any legitimate polls showing Trump anywhere close to 50% in over 3 months.
