Shitarelli was 3 points behind Murphy this last election.

It's been 8 years. It could be a change election and Shitty coasts in.

Or - and it might be hard for some to read at DU . . .but things get as bad as possible in red states - and she wins. Pain in Red States becomes an advantage in NJ. I'm also thinking about Hurricane season. It's been a few years since Irene and 14 since Sandy - Trump withholding even MORE of our money (we get the least back of all states) could push her into the win in a storm hits.

If the economy continues to be bad and the perception is that it's Krasnov's fault - people will rebel against change keep the status quo.

This might all seem really crass, but I'm A committee member and I'm thinking about how we count votes. My husband has been around enough county meetings and local events that he jokes - you guys are like election day in Gangs of New York every day. You do everything but break legs to win.
