Cognitive decline on full display. The orange diaphoretic mess gave a speech at Fort Bragg today, using active duty soldiers as a backdrop for a political rally, and used the opportunity to insult the previous President several times. No surprise at all.
But my favourite was his claim that Biden "was never the sharpest bulb." Maybe not, but I guarantee he knows the difference between 'the brightest bulb on the tree,' and 'the sharpest knife in the drawer.'
What a clown.
Update: Video on Twitter (or whatever the Chief Twit is calling it now).

(125,172 posts)I have never seen a sharp bulb at any hardware store. I have seen bright bulbs and sharp knives, but no sharp bulbs; also no bright knives. I would submit that anyone who's talking about sharp bulbs is a pretty dim one.

(25,145 posts)Someone could maybe ask F47 if he considers himself to be a sharp bulb. After all, he's much better at causing the people and things around him to bleed than he is at shedding light on anything in his vicinity.

(6,186 posts)He was known as being high IQ. He graduated from Delaware with a BA and Syracuse with a JD. So trump needs lawyers to interpret the Constitution for him.( you saw what he thought the DECLARATION OF IDEPENDENCE meant. He always seems to think things mean the opposite of what they really mean. He does this so much I wonder if it's a condition? But yet Biden is the dim bulb? I vet Biden knows backward and forward the Constitution and knows that the Declaration was a claiming of independence ( dumping the King) for the Colonies away from England and not loving unity. ( wasn't it Terry Moran that exposed that? )

(833 posts)Trump would like us to forget when Biden took office, COVID vaccines were limited to healthcare workers.
Biden had to ramp up production of needles; a fact that Trump had overlooked.
COVID vaccines are useless if you do have the mechanism to deliver the vaccine.
His staff likes to talk about Trump's legacy.
He already has a legacy.
Trump, the ultimate Dunning-Kruger president's first term is ranked near the bottom; Biden's is ranked higher.
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/feb/20/presidents-ranking-trump-biden-list
Instead of Trump hiring the best of the best, he has hired the worst of the rest; going for loyalty.
Trump could have pursued a cure for cancer but with his cancelling cancer research and firing scientists and his anti-immigration and anti-science and anti-education bent, it will not happen in his presidency.
