Vice Chair David Hogg support progressive candidate in special election in Virginia

No surprise here.

It’s extremely GREAT that David Hogg is trying hard to get more progressive candidates elected.

The Democratic Party absolutely needs fewer and fewer of these conservatives
in our DEM Party.

Far too many younger people I know are really disappointed disillusioned and some disgusted with so many DEM members of Congress that are doing little for the working class,

Obviously many of these young people don’t take into account
that DEM members of Congress can’t pass liberal legislation when the
Republicans control everything.

Many of these young voters I know are very tired of so many Congressional members that are in their 70s and even 80s

..most LOVE AOC, and love AOC’s liberal stance

A lot a voters, DEM voters, liberal voters, and progressive voters
are tired of politicians that have been lacking in their “FIGHT”

Most younger people I know, that pay some amount of attention to politics,
want more people like AOC,
And yet really like the older fighters like Bernie, Maxine Waters,
or the late John Lewis and Paul Wellstone

4. Yeah, would be better if he was not DNC, DNC has always been pretty conservative

In my view the DNC has been far too conservative and not attuned
to the DEM voters for a long time.

DNC has long aligned with Big Money corporate interests since Clinton
And David Hogg would be better to make change outside the DNC.

Most people I know ..If they give $ to candidates,
Would only give directly to candidates, and not any other way.

But that said, I’m sure glad some big money interests
give money to entities like DNC

5. Are these Hogg progressives actually vetting the """progressives""" they are endorsing now?

Or is this another future Sinema/Fetterman """progressive?"""

I try to avoid Politico due to their history of biased coverage, but I did read this story to see what seat we are talking about, who he was endorsing, and what their credentials were.

There were no credentials or accomplishments listed for the person he endorsed, other than Hogg calling her “an incredible progressive leader” who is “running to take on a corrupt and broken system."

Well, okay then...

6. Who are "these conservatives in our DEM party"? Who are "so many ... that are doing little for the working class"?

What is it that they are doing to be conservative, what are they not doing for the working class? Should be easy to give many examples if there are so many.

When I say that segment of the progressive movement needs to vet the candidates they support better, he's one of the prime examples.

(as a party official) is trying to 'unseat' current Democratic office holders. You most certainly have a right to back (and fund) candidates that you prefer in a primary - but then, do the correct thing - and step away from your 'chair' position as party official.

And no matter how many discussions - or tutorials - we have about 'young people in the party' ... That doesn't paper over the fact that the party doesn't (and most definitely shouldn't) back-stab people that are already holding a seat. It's a fairly simple formula.

(and this has become consensus within the party) then we would agree that there should be consequence.
But (as I read it) - you, and the OP presented here, are advocating something quite different - correct? ( and further, in no way represents any kind of consensus opinion for the party ?)

I wonder if everybody who is OK with a DNC member picking winners in primaries would feel the same if that member was funding conservative Democrats.
