My Opinion: Taco Supreme is trying to cosplay as Putin and "annex" California.

California is his Ukraine and he wants it, or at least the optics for the world and MAGA that he's big and tough. Plus CA is the biggest state that does damage to his political ambitions. He probably also considers Los Angeles is the entirety of California like a typical city-person.
