Hey Donald Dumpster Trump! It cost my billfold approximately an extra $30 since I went a couple weeks ago. I usually get the same thing to eat, because it easier to make in my truck while on the road. I thought that you promised lower prices no matter what I bought.
It was a wreck less thing to enact a tariff war and think prices wont go up!
A stable genius could have figured that out and youre no stable genius! More like a fool dressed up in a clown suit!

(65,946 posts)... Kamala Harris had it. I've also been baking bread, a loaf a week since the Pandemic. I don't hoard more than a package of tp. But my pantry is being filled and I have started drying and doubled the back porch tomatoes. Tomatoes are a tough thing to grow out here. I do grow some indoors, a grape golden I've had excellent luck with. But I want Heirlooms and I may get one or two, so I plant three new likely suspects each year. I'll keep buying on special in bulk. We got a vacuum sealer.
I'm not going survival so much as I am evening out the bumps. When we get to the rallies, required party membership, internal passports, "FEMA camps" - I'll be in rural Ohio or Iowa. I'll reconnect to like minded from the 60s and 70s.
This shit ain't even started. Why aren't there millions in the streets?

(16,322 posts)Im trying Adaptive Seeds open pollinated variety of Sungold this year. I like the idea of not being tied to buying the F1 seeds every few years. Hoping it is equal to the Sungold that I know.
Im also trying Barrys crazy cherry and Ildi this year. Im pretty sure those two are similar if not the same tomato. But theyre both yellows.

(16,322 posts)They distribute to Whole Foods and a ton of other grocery stores. Theyve been cagey for the past few days but apparently theyve been hacked which means they cant get specific orders to stores.
Theyre offering to send some amount of items to Whole Foods stores- like the top 100 items.
I walked into the small Whole Foods today (sons gf is coming to visit and she eats a few oat products that I dont usually keep on hand). I could see the dairy department from the entrance that I came through and thought it looked absolutely weirdly bare.
Now I know why.
(I also keep a deep pantry)

(12,524 posts)if the Republicans could figure out a way to get Trump out of the White House, without losing Trumpism, and his voters, they would have already done it.
If somehow Trump has an MI or Aneurism, or whatever.....we will still be exposed Republicanism, masquerading as Trumpism, and will still be stuck with his 74+ Million mindless voters......

(51,451 posts)Many shoppers refer to Aldis Aldi Finds aisle as the Aisle of Shame. But more specifically, the Aldi Finds aisle featuring home goods and lifestyle productsnot the food section.
Yes, every month, we share the best food items coming to the Aldi Finds section. However, those arent the items youd find in the Aisle of Shame because theres no shame in stocking up on seven bags of your favorite limited-time potato chips (were looking at you, Clancys Cheddar & Sour Cream Baked Chips).
Instead, the Aisle of Shame is where you find things like Dutch ovens, candles, throw blankets, shoes, patio decor, and much more.
In reality, theres no shame in buying any of these items eitherin fact, we encourage it because Aldis products are high quality, and most of them are dupes for expensive name-brand items. But shoppers call it the Aisle of Shame because customers tend to lose all self-control when they enter the aisle.

I just like the no-nonsense shopping. When Ald first came to our area, a couple people I know looked down at me for shopping there. Now, they are converts! Sure, Aldi doesn't have everything, but I save a lot of money and time shopping there. Plus there are those interesting products that you won't see in the big box stores.

However, if this keeps up much longer, I'll be back on rice and beans along with everybody else and damned glad to get them.
