13. I'm a big fan of the 1960's sit-in. It's a great tactic.

When the protesters immediately sit down at the first hint of police violence, it exposes the perpetrators. They're the only ones standing, so it's pretty clear who is creating the situation.

When you stand and hold big protest signs, it obscures the crimes being committed.

The problem is that sitting requires a lot of discipline. Not sure if people can follow through with that.

those who will be doing our duty to assemble please be careful. And stick to the precautions. There have been multiple threads here today with how to conduct ourselves during a protest.

One thing was to sit down with your signs and let those who are conducting violent acts be seen by the police.

Remember during the George Floyd protests there were many outside agitators who WERE committing violent acts.

Please be safe and do not let them stop you.

I don't think the actions or reactions of protestors in the here and now will affect any measurable changes to a script written and signed off on months ago.
