I think if we're teetering on the verge of a full on Insurrection Act proclamation

My depressing suspicion is that there is ultimately no stepping back at this point anyway, because Traitor is avidly looking for a pretext to march troops into cities. If that’s baked in, and I think it is, then it might be better if it happens sooner rather than later.

If the choice is “now” or “never,” probably never is preferable. If the choice is “now” or “after he’s had another year to purge anyone with a conscience from the military, DOJ, and judiciary,” we’re probably better off having it now.

He hasn’t done the necessary work to coalesce an authoritarian regime so far. He’s rushing this before he’s solidified his power. So let’s test this while we have some semblance of a democracy remaining.
