Trump: 'I'm really not trolling' with talk of Canada as 51st state

Yeah, we know.

The president sat down for an interview with Time Magazine, where a reporter suggested Trump may have been “trolling a little bit” with his repeated comments that Canada should be absorbed into the United States.

“Actually, no, I’m not,” Trump said in the interview, which was conducted Tuesday.

“I think Canada, what you said that, ‘Well, that one, I might be trolling.’ But I’m really not trolling,” Trump added. “Canada is an interesting case.”

Canada doesn't want to be part of the U.S. Why would they? They have better health care, better social safety nets, better education.
But all he sees are possible dollar signs, and he can't seem to stand the thought that money ain't in his pocket.

This new, terminally online society is so fucking stupid. This all sounds ridiculous to anyone who has touched grass in the last year.

No, world leaders should not be “trolling.” The lack of seriousness overall now is going to end horribly. Guess I’m no fun because I think everything shouldn’t be a fucking Facebook meme.

I'm talking area, not population. Canada's land area is approximately 3,855,103 square miles, making it the second-largest country in the world by land area. By comparison, theUnited States has a total area of 3,796,742 square miles, including all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories. Of that total, 3,531,905 square miles is land area.

I don't know which is more ludicrous: the idea of adding Canada to this country against its will, OR the idea of it being all one state. Has he ever even looked at a map of the place? Sure, Dumbo, that makes LOADS of sense.

The "51st state" nonsense is part of why I can't take this wild idea of his seriously. That and the fact that Canada wouldn't agree to it in a million years and invading our good neighbor and (former?) ally would be anathema to most Americans.

Dream on, Dumbfuck Donnie.
