(25,577 posts)2. Good article. I think that the "fun" USA started dying in 2000.
At least the most recent "fun" USA. It didn't totally crap out until 2016. So it took some time unravelling.
Obviously it looks like they're 10 to 20 year periods that are "fun" followed by 10 to 20 year periods that suck.
How many people remember those "fun" gas lines back in the '70s?
Also I would say that internet bubbles aren't nearly as "fun" as in person bubbles used to be. But that's what life is becoming.

folk into his false MAGA bubble because Republicans made income inequality so bad in the last 45 years their own bubbles became painful to live in.
